Announcing Monthly Grants Postings for Canadian Nonprofits
GrantStation, an online funding resource for organizations seeking grants throughout the world, is pleased to announce the introduction of the GrantStation Canadian Insider.
“I think this is a fantastic idea. As budgets become increasingly stretched and time available to research grant availability more and more constrained, a publication focusing solely on grantmakers accepting requests from Canadian charities will be a boon to Canadian charitable organizations,” said Carolyn Nordheimer James, CEO, Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library, a Canadian organization. “This is a magical holiday gift from GrantStation.”
“This newsletter will provide Canadian charities and nonprofit organizations timely information on funding opportunities each month,” said Cynthia M. Adams, CEO and President of GrantStation. The Canadian Insider, which will feature information relevant to a wide range of Canadian charities, including organizations working in education, health, social services, community development, children and youth, and the environment, will be published 11 times a year but will only be available to those organizations with full Membership access to the GrantStation website.
“For years we have made announcements relevant to Canadian organizations in both the GrantStation Insider and the International Insider,” said Adams, “but it was clearly time to acknowledge that Canadian charities want, and need, a newsletter to accompany the other resources we offer via our website.”
Full Members of GrantStation have access to a comprehensive and searchable Canadian charitable giving database which provides profiles of private grantmakers who give throughout Canada and within particular provinces and territories, as well as provincial government grant and loan programs.
The first Canadian Insider newsletter will be available on January 16th, 2012 in the Member’s area of GrantStation.com.
If you are a grantmaker and would like to submit a grant announcement for the GrantStation Canadian Insider, please contact the editor, Ashlyn Simmons.
